About LSH
Lübecker Schrotthandel GmbH was integrated into the group through an acquisition in 2005. An older shredder plant already existing at the site continued to operate for two years. In 2007, it was completely replaced and an investment was made in a new, state-of-the-art shredder plant with a drive power of 2200 kW and downstream non-ferrous metal separation.
As early as 2009, the shredder plant was expanded to include an innovative processing step for detecting certain metals in shredded waste. Metals are separated here using sensor technology and air pressure. The continuous modernization and expansion of processing capacities culminated in the construction of a cross-flow screen shredder including its own non-ferrous metal separation plant in 2017.
The extensive plant technology at the Lübeck site enables the processing of various ferrous and non-ferrous composite materials, as well as the recovery of scrap and metals. A dedicated fleet of vehicles for container services rounds out our comprehensive range of services.
